The pedestrian zone near Pyazansky Prospect Metro
Station has become the first pedestrian shopping zone in Moscow located outside
the city center. The area which is located close to the metro station and a
busy radial highway accommodates a variety of sales, catering and leisure
facilities.
The shopping street which is about 500 m long and has
a square in the middle offers a wide range of goods. Almost every kind of sales
enterprises – from sales booths and a clothes trade fair to a superhiper market
– is located here.
The Mall shops and pavilions differing in the range of
goods they offer are joined together with the slab paved pedestrian zone, a
unified exterior design of sales outlets, and a common security and operation system.
The sales area is mostly rented; another part of it is used by the TEN Group of
Companies.
A high attendance rate is explained by the fact that
the pedestrian shopping zone is located along one of the busiest highways near a
metro station. A vast “zone of influence” of the Mall is ensured by its
ingenious concept of combining sales and catering enterprises of almost every
kind in one place.
Constant consumer traffic during each week is encouraged
by a wide range of goods and a variety of sales enterprises. Each customer can
choose goods and services according to his or her current needs and financial abilities.
